BJ’s Wholesale Club selects RedPrairie to streamline transportation operations
BJ’s Wholesale Club, a US-based a membership-only warehouse club chain, has selected RedPrairie's Transportation Management System to streamline its transportation operations and reduce costs.
The technology solution by RedPrairie, a supply chain and retail technology provider, enables retailers to improve operational efficiencies by automating transportation tasks and optimizing the planning of shipments.
The warehouse club chain will now be able to better monitor carrier performance and shipment activities throughout the supply chain.
BJ's Wholesale Club operates more than 190 clubs in 15 states of the US and provides members with merchandise at prices significantly lower than department stores, drug stores, supermarkets, supercenters and specialty stores.
